You can navigate Mario through the 3D environments, jumping, running, and interacting with objects and characters.
The primary goal of Super Mario 64 is to collect Power Stars by completing various tasks and challenges within each level. These tasks range from defeating specific enemies, solving puzzles, unlocking doors, racing against characters like Koopa the Quick, and exploring hidden secrets. As you collect more Power Stars, you gain access to new areas of the castle and eventually confront Bowser multiple times to rescue Princess Peach.
